The Vertex Effects channel is hosted by Mason Marangella (aka The Rig Doctor), the owner, creator, and CEO of Vertex Effects, a boutique effects pedal and accessories company based in Los Angeles, California.
Our focus is to deliver the guitar community with weekly high-quality content covering (1) DIY best practices to optimize your pedalboard and tone, (2) providing gear recommendations and reviews based on our favorite products from other brands and makers, and (3), demonstrating the products that we design and manufacture at Vertex Effects.
In addition to our normal video content, we release a weekly podcast with other industry professionals: Grant Klassen (Goodwood Audio), and Brian Omilion (Omilion Audio), collectively known as The Chairmen of the Boards, to dive further into the topics of tone, pedalboards, and guitar gear in a long-form roundtable discussion, streamed live on YouTube every Monday afternoon.
