Sage Solaris, also known as, Tyra Hughes, is a 21-year-old Black, Guyanese-American R&B singer songwriter from West Orange, New Jersey currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Collaborative Arts at New York University studying music production, theatre and dramatic writing.
The multi hyphenate currently stars in and produces music for off broadway musical, Ella the Ungovernable which premieres at Theatre for the New City on June 20th, 2024.
As a singer songwriter, filmmaker , producer and actress, Sage Solaris is wholly inspired by Kehlani, Chloë Bailey, Beyoncé, Summer Walker, and Victoria Monet.
