Islamic Information Society of Calgary (IISC) is a registered CRA Charitable and non-profit religious organization. IISC presently has three locations in the Calgary area, Dar Al-Hijra NE, Al-khaf Youth Center, Fairview Southeast Mosque and the Downtown Mosque.
Downtown Mosque is a community hub in downtown Calgary's heart, including exclusive programming for sisters and outreach to non-Muslim fellow citizens (dawah activities).
Our NE location is the main center offering Qur’an memorization and tajweed classes for all ages. We aim to build and sustain a generation that establishes a relationship with the Qur’an.
IISC Al-Khaf Youth Center is a dedicated space for youth development, covering gaps for religious education in the public education system, leadership development, and community engagement.
