About
Two Cents in the Till is a contemporary Vermont string band with shades of bluegrass and old time. Unique renditions of traditional favorites, original compositions, and surprising songs plucked from other genres make for some creative picking and tight three-part harmony. These three ladies and a gent have entertained audiences in venues throughout Central Vermont and the Queen City (Burlington), as well as traveled to New England festivals, including Joe Val and Bluegrass on the Bogs. They released their debut album, Greenland, in January 2018.
Two Cents in the Till is Natalie Babij on mandolin and vocals, Kimberley McKee on clawhammer banjo and vocals, Mabel Lee Cushman on guitar and vocals, and Ed Sutton on bass and vocals.
