The Name in Lights activation allowed winners to use state-of-the-art technology to creatively express what was on their minds shortly after their Oscar wins. They wrote messages to their loved ones, signed their names, made references to their films, or just let their imagination run wild. The light-painting technology made the activation a unique visual experience that winners wanted to participate in.
