He started experimenting in Pro Logic in 6th grade as he would endlessly teach himself different techniques and music theories, until he reached a basic understanding of producing in high school. He was raised in a music loving family and got his interest in hip-hop from his brothers who introduced him to local rappers. David considers hip-hop a very vast yet formulaic genre. Getting inspiration from pop and electronic music he likes to incorporate textures and instruments from different genres into his beats. The music is best described as an impeccably hard groove, driven by fast hats and complex rhythms. With a wide variety of beats, Ballpoint takes us on a loud and energetic trip.
