I'm going off on a slight tangent here but...speaking of time relating to producing and mixing .... I can't remember who from or where I heard this tip...but when it comes to being analytical always do it in the morning or when you wake up.
and leave all the creativity to the evenings.
it has something to do with the phase your brain is in at those times....but it's without a doubt one of most profound things i've adopted.
