These are the basics of Moonview Highway:
Stay on the left lane to drive with traffic and respect the distance with the drivers ahead of you to avoid a collision.
Stay on the this lane until you reach the turnpike. Stop and pay the fee and enter the city where you now have access to two lanes. Use the fast lane to pass people on the slower lane if you want.
At the end of the city, stop and pay another fee at the turnpike and merge back onto the one lane road.
Do that repeatedly for 3 laps.

Another important tip, is that THIS TRACK IS TERRIBLE FOR BAGGING. Even if you don't bag, if you get hit at the start, you're gonna have a hard time catching up due to the lack of shortcuts. Chain your mushrooms, focus on getting a shock dodge and be aggressive and defensive with your items. If you have a mushroom in a top spot, save it in case you get hit, but don't use it to take any shortcuts. If it requires a mushroom on THIS track, then more than likely it's not a shortcut at all.
