Ashoka was probably one of very few animated characters who gracefully transitioned to live action. At least visually. I saw the scene in Mandalorian and thought “wow that actually worked!”

I’m hoping Disney is smart and uses this world between world plot device to make the sequels non canon. They are literally giving themselves and even showing us giving themselves the perfect plot device to do it with.

If Ahsoka stayed at the Temple I can't really see Darth Vader popping up. Ahsoka was someone Anakin was shown to open up to regularly and see as perhaps his most trusted confidante, far more than Palpatine or Obi-Wan. Why would he bring his worries to Palpatine or listen to a Sith if he had Ahsoka that whole time?

as someone who's been pretty lukewarm about the ahsoka series this has actually made me more interested, like of course fans will complain but ahsoka being forced to realise she couldn't stop the birth of vader actually sounds intriguing to me, also the whole idea of star wars what ifs is a whole untapped market tbh
also yes i do think filoni likes ahsoka a little too much but i mean if we're gonna get a show with ahsoka in lots of shit, it's gonna be, surprise, ahsoka

I'm totally all for it. It puts to rest all kinds of fan fiction out there, and also the lack of Ahsoka in RotS (which is obvious, but you know what I mean). It basically ties up all the remaining loose-ish ends from the prequels.

Tricky part about playing Ahsoka in live action, especially a young/teen version, her face and cheekbones are so skinny, hard to find a human with those facial features, even with makeup, but trust Dave to make the best star wars content yet, surpassing clone wars, rots, force unleashed, empire, and everything else.

The plot is when facing Vader, Asoka is able to get through to Anakin and convince him to turn away from the Dark side … afterwards Asoka is feeling very introspective and as she walks with a chastised and apologetic Anakin back to Padme's ship, she mentions that she feels she's reached a new level of maturity, and it's time for her to take her own apprentice. Asoka: I'll choose one from amongst the Younglings. Anakin: Uhh …yeah, about that?…
