Chinese Money Plant Rootbound (Pilea Peperomioides)

This Chinese Money Plant (Pilea Peperomioides) had started to slow down in growth. I had been noticing through the clear pot that the roots were starting to get rootbound, so decided to pot it up. I went only slightly larger on the pot size. Trying save some real estate.

The components I used in this mix are coir, pine bark and perlite. This will give proper drainage and aeration, and some water holding capacity. As far as watering, I will continue to wait for the soil to dry out 100% and then bottom water.

I have a plant that's root bound. An alocasia that was a dead little stump a few months ago. So I'm proud of it's root growth. However yesterday I'm checking to see what I have to report and what work needs to be done etc and find that my spider plants are almost all root no soil .....lmao where did you he soil go!?!?!
