I had one from ,8weeks to ,15 yrs. Loyal and protective kind unless there was a threat. Saved my mother from attacks from a ABUSIVE ex husband. He would show back up periodically when drunk and rob and beat my Mom long after they divorced.. My Mom lived in California. I live in another state. I took my Shepard to stay with her. The ex showed up kicked in the front door and was chasing my Mom hitting her. My Shepherd jumped through the back sliding glass door and got him by his but lower cheek and shook him like a toy . He walked with a limp for the rest of his life. And quit bothering my Mom 😂 He was a Very Good Boy ❤❤❤❤❤
