The hadith States â if youâre happy with his deen and CHARACTERâ not religious commitment then the other aspects you mentioned. How stupid would someone have to be not to take chracter into consideration when specially when itâs mentioned as a partner of religion by the prophet.

I am sick of these sisters that had love marriages and now with kids of another man believe itâs my job to take them on and suddenly they are religious but know nothing of Islam and think itâs my duty to feed another manâs kids and think Iâve had an easy life and their health is all over as theyâve been eating takeaway and thought they will age like their favourite movie star.
Many talk all dirty too and seem to want phone numbers immediately. They have zero embarrassment, zero shame, just want easy easy life all the way thinking they are a princess a movie star.

At first I used to frown on these and think they were the recipe for divorce, but nowadays with so many muslim women disrespecting their husbands verbally and sometimes worse and never apologizing and never taking accountability for their actions, maybe this type of arrangement is best because you can interview the person and their families prior to engagement to see if their akhlaq are in line with the deen.

Arranged marriages are harder to escape, especially if it is a very pious marriage, when the wife is mostly housebound and vailed...There are many Aunt Lydia's in Islam who are complicit in forcing their daughters to marry.
