I feel lucky because my husband built me a home gym space with the actual flooring that is in weight lifting areas (or used to be when I went to the actual gym). So no slipping. If I need to come in the house on my wood floors, i put a thin yoga mat under my bench and that helps a lot. But those gorilla liners are GREAT!

I use an anti-shock puzzle mat because I have neighbors downstairs. Helps with the sound and your bench won't slip.
