Garen Q removes slows. This includes Nasus W, both effects (movement slow and attack speed slow).
Garen W gives huge temporary tenacity. With Merc boots all CC in the first 0.75s window are nearly zero. Used this already multiple times to walk straight through Veigar's E with only a fraction of a second stun.
Garen E reduces enemy armour and the spin amount scales with attack speed. More spins stack armour reduction faster.
Flashing away from Garen R has no direct interaction. To cancel his ult, you need to get out of vision, not create a distance. If you want to flash away, seek walls or fog of war.
