From my anecdotal experience, this tree is the best for a most capable generalist. 1st rifle - GPR 2nd rifle - SBR/PDW, GPR->SPR 3rd rifle - DMR, SBR, SPR->GPR

I love the study of ballistics. I have reversed engineered the mathematics in the applied ballistics that’s in the kestrel and put it in chart form so I can get a ballistics data result to make a ballistic solution for accurate impacts on targets. I have several computer devices for shooting long range and extreme long range but it’s just comforting to know I can get the same results from charts that don’t use electronics or batteries. I guess I’m a ballistics nerd, if you will. By understanding the math involved in the ballistics device it helps you understand what’s going on in the background. Thanks for this content !!!!

Depends on task, but 16" match barrel with 3-18x is possibly the most fun.

Because of my particular location, I went with SPR. Stretch the platform as much as possible while maintaining parts and ammunition compatibility with my buddies

Where I live in the mountains, either will do with 77 gr. SPR’s are sexy, though 🤙😎

Realistically GPR, for right now 😁

If you have the skills, training, and budget to maximize the SPR, I’d go SPR. If you can’t afford MK262 or other suitable ammo, you may as well go general purpose.

18" rifle does just about everything better than a shorty except room clearing. If I could only have one it would probably be a 14.5-18" gun with a 10x mpvo and offset dot.

GPR. One has to define their 90% use case.

I think the GPR is the best option by virtue of the typical weight savings versus the SPR. With a proper load, i.e. 77 gr OTM, an 11.5" will be nearly as effective in close to mid range as a 20" (reference Paul Harrels prok ribs at 200 yards video).
