2️⃣ Add a dB of low mids to give some weight to the bottom end
3️⃣ Add a touch in the mids in dynamic mode ➡️ 1dB - 2dB at around 1.6k
4️⃣ Next, we're adding a touch in the stereo which will widen it out around the snare and high end area. This will give some nice presence to the mid frequencies

Radio stations run the audio through processors like Orban Optimod so a more dynamic mix is likely better. Well this is what they did years ago anyway, perhaps they don't do it as aggressively now tracks are mastered louder.
