I don't think that works as good on braid though since it doesn't stretch, on spinning gear you can tighten your drag pull hard and release the spool once you have good tension it works well in brush.

I like when I do this and it doesnât come out and you have to troll over and pull it out of a 1 mm twig. But yes, this DOES work alot of the time
