As a parent that doesn't deal with kiddos with allergies, it can be overwhelming to suddenly have to plan for a child that does have allergies. It takes a huge mental load off my plate to know their parent is willing to provide safe food for that child. I would be mortified if I screwed up and gave a child a food I thought was safe and it actually wasn't safe for them.

As someone who works in a bakery, this is AMAZING parenting.
Not only are you providing an item your child/ren can eat safely, but you're not putting that worry onto another parent who might not fully understand how dire the allergy might be!
It would be TOTALLY different if you brought an item say, from a specialty bakery to the party when the party foods are all from Walmart or something.
That's just being a self-righteous ass.
But no, this was meant to help your child have a good time with their friends, and in turn, the party host as well.
Good job Momma!! ❤

This makes it so much easier on the other mom who also wants to help your child feel included but is also already overwhelmed with throwing a birthday party. So thoughtful!
Not only that, my mom did something similar for me one year when I went to a summer camp and I, as the child, felt so incredibly loved and watched over. ❤️ it’s probably been about 15 years but I should go thank her for that again 😂

Making your child their own food that's structured around their dietary needs and restrictions is a parenting W that I wish every parent would adhere to
