Omg i totally feel this…. But I have to say I do noooot have a single yarn barf (my ocd makes me wind it even if it’s the tiniest ball for magic circles only) and I don’t have any donuts or Hank’s (those intimidate me because I don’t have a proper winder for it 😔

I love skeins the most
Even though it's harder to unwind when you are working but i love how they look
And when they start getting smaller and looser i handwind them into a cake

I prefer skeins as well but an easy to finder center pull cake is good too. I have a few hand wound balls from yarn barf lol. Cant stand yarn barf. Anything to small to be wound up gets snipped for scrap stuffing

The donut is my least favorite shape,, I always seem to get a lot of yarn barf. It's nice there are so many options to please us all!

I wind all my balls into cakes. I find the center pulls easier to access and any yarn knots or barf I can deal with as I’m winding so when I’m mid project no unexpected knots are thrown at me

I absolutely love all your videos they always make me so happy! thank you for bringing so much joy to my life! Also did you know you can smash skeins into the doughnut shape? It’s a little more difficult with the larger skeins but still do-able. Hope this brings you a little joy as well 💕

I hate working with hanks of yarn, but that's because I don't have a yarn winder and while I am amazing at untangling just about anything, it doesn't mean I want to actually spend more time doing it to make balls of it than crocheting the project. Unless it's a very tiny or very tight knot or even like chenille yarn, I can pretty much get anything untangled.

I LOVE untangling large, tangled messes. of yarn or anything else. I don’t know why. I’m very good at it — maybe that’s why. It’s a gift, what can I say. 🤷♀

I’m a yarn ball 🧶 girl all the way. I know it won’t get tangled, I can easily pull more yarn loose when I need to, and it’s easy to wind up without a yarn winding too
