Kristy Phyu is the daughter of the victim. Her mother was still in the hospital Thursday but no longer in critical condition.
The incident occurred around 7:17 a.m. at SE 200th St. at 148th Ave SE in unincorporated King County, according to the KCSO. Deputies said the victim, a pedestrian, suffered "critical injuries" and the suspect vehicle was a 2007-2014 white/cream Cadillac Escalade.
Detectives determined the Escalade has a missing or damaged driver's-side mirror, the KCSO said. It's missing a front plate, and has six chrome rims, chrome running boards, and a roof rack, the KSCO added.
