What did you think of The Maineā€™s self-titled album? MUCH better than xoxo if you ask me šŸŖ©

The mood I'm in/jsyk might be one of my favorite songs of the year.

Donā€™t skip Leave In Five! Vibe with it and dance the night away. And I personally love Thoughts I Have While Lying In Bed. Totally agree about the end of the album. I was confused about it as well.

I liked this album a lot! I enjoyed xoxo but this is definitely an improvement.

Very relieved you liked this one much better! I think Iā€™d agree with a B, many very fun tracks

It doesn't top albums like Forever Halloween or Lovely Little Lonely, but it's definitely better than their last two.

Iā€™m so glad that Iā€™m not the only one who thought Spiraling didnā€™t make sense as a closing track. Even though Cars & Caution Signs isnā€™t one of my favorite songs from the album it wouldā€™ve been way better as a final song. Donā€™t care for Blame that much either. Other than that Iā€™m very happy with what The Maine delivered this time unlike when XOXO dropped. Personally I think The Maine would suit a Ranked episode very well too, same with The 1975.

1,000% agree about Spiraling. Itā€™s a non-skip album until the very last song, so I just pretend Cars & Caution Signs is the closer. šŸ˜‚

You are ok is supper underrated. It does not get the love it deserves.

This was definitely a big step up from XOXO and even You Are OK a little bit. Not quite as good as LLL and American Candy but this is still the most fun Iā€™ve had with a Maine record since 2017. Solid review!

I agree with the B rating. Defintiely a step up from XOXO because of higher high points and more tracks on the album I enjoy overall.

COMPLETELY agree with Cars & caution signs being the obvious choice for the closing song

Agreed. Spiraling is a weird closer and the only song I dislike. Great album. Their best since LLL!

Love this album, how to exit a room, leave in five and cars & caution signs are my go to for the self-titled album

my personal favorite is between leave in five, the mood im in / jsyk, and i think about you all the time. I landed on a strong 4/5. I personally don't like the fast delivery on the verses on blame but the hook fucks six ways to sunday. I agree about cars & caution signs > spiraling. as someone thats been a fan of The Maine since 2012, this album is such a lover letter to the fans, from the release date to the songs themselves. cannot wait to see them in December!

I loved this album so much but I was a little disappointed in the overall sound after the two singles got my hopes up so high, overall tho Iā€™d agree itā€™s a real solid album

I never have the same opinion as you lmao, I love spiraling.

Xoxo is a top 3 album for me, so this didnā€™t quite hit that. I still love it though! Dose no 2 had been a fave early on for me. Also, I would be interested in your thoughts on Yellowcardā€™s Childhood Eyes ep! Thanks!
