We have one lady whose squawk is long and loud. She started laying about half her eggs in one of the dust baths under the porch. This makes the man of the house crow until we go out, crawl under the porch, and get the egg, so he can take a bath. Never a dull moment.

I'm playing this outside to my hens. They've finally reached maturity but we're still waiting for our first eggs. Maybe this will get them in the mood 🤔

Anybody else's rooster singing the egg song? Mine even calls the hens to spots around the yard and squats down and kinds says "lay eggs here!" He is even going in the nest box and chatting them up while they are sitting in there trying to figure things out. They are laying age, but haven't laid their first egg yet. I wonder if he is stressing them out with all his "encouragement."

I love the chicken set up you guys have! Is the structure you have over the coop off of Amazon? Is it very sturdy in rain or winds with the tarp over the top? I’m making an addition dry area for the chickens here in the NW where I’m at and would love your input on the structure and where you picked it up at!? Thank you and God bless
