I worked as a chemist. There is almost no chance of learning enough about chemistry without college to get a job as a chemist. That said, there are many degrees offered in college that aren't worth the paper on which they're printed. Most of those degrees fall under the Humanities umbrella.

I went to college in my 30s. Was pretty disappointed by the "education". It was all just stuff I already knew or stuff I could easily look up. Nothing except the actual trade classes taught me anything.

I was raised by a small business owner. Knowing how to work, how to speak to adults in a professional manner, and how to act when in his office building were standards that my sisters and i had to meet by the time we were in 1st grade. I truly believe this guy when he says he needs college for that. This is why i dont view things like that as my equal.
