Fourth generation cattleman here. Cattle are one of the most efficient animals we could raise. Itā€™s almost like our ancestors knew what they were doingā€¦. Keep up the great work my man

That video of yours is the best critique of eating bugs. Hopefully it will get much more popular.

Thereā€™s too much logic in this video. You got a loicense for that logic?

People only talk about - and count - the meat (beef) from cattle, but seem to forget all about the milk, and leather and other byproducts we get from them on top of meat.

In Brazil most cattle is raised in grassy plains where not much else can be grown, industrial farming is very rare.

There's also the factor that I think they are using small bug harvesting farms compared to large farms as well. The numbers don't make any sense. I know this because I study various grasshoppers as well as other insects and the number that you have in captivity is regularly monitored due to their feeding habits. They eat a lot and you can't have more than the registered number due to locust metamorphosis and the amount of feed you have to give them. The numbers make no sense, it should be far more skewed the other way. I honestly think they are comparing tackle box bred insects to entire farms of animals. It's the only way the numbers will make sense. A thousand crickets will easily overeat a thousand chickens.

We should eat the people that want us to eat the bugs. Maybe that will send them the message.

I just love this guyā€™s face. Iā€™m glad to see him again. Itā€™s been a while. I think the last time I saw him he was telling me how black people may or may not have invented rock music. Now Iā€™m learning about cows. I like this new direction and Iā€™m excited to see where it leads

Though I don't want to eat bugs, being able to convert bug-meal into protein flour is pretty cool. Not only that, but you need proper management for good cattle. Can't just keep one in your basement like you could with more compact proteins. Even a coop could be set-up in a hole in the ground. Good beef needs good care.

I wonder if cows eating only grass makes them carbon negative, since they give the grass an opportunity to constantly grow. Surely the mass of carbon in the grass consumed by cows can be measured.

One thing i wish you had mentioned is that plant byproduct would produce greenhouse gases by just decomposing.

Cows are a blessing from the almighty creator.

Also, the cattle are vital for soil health--and, even granting "Climate Change" and "CO2" hysteria, healthy soil sequesters CO2, especially if their grazing is controlled (AMP--Adaptive Multi-Paddock), so, even on "Climate Change", getting rid of cattle would be a grave "sin".

Their main goal is for us to not eat anything, since we won't be here.

That is not there to make any sense but to train masses into obedience.

I suspect most of this boils down to energy conservation due to the square increase lowering heat requirements. not only that,- but the way cows eat grass means they are a walking compost pile.
