I am scared. I have an loop illeostomy for years and they need to remove my whole colon . I am so scared because I am not in full recovery from anorexia. I am nervous that I will have the procedure and I will lose weight on the initial diet and then will have to get nutrition other means. It freaks me out ,I have all different types of diversion colitis and other diversion stuff. I do not know why I am venting like this . I am just scared

Not true. Fifteen years after 1/3 of my colon was removed, still have constant diarrhea. Dr's have been no help because there is no follow up on the effects of when part of the colon is removed.
