I had a stamp store for 17 years. Also manufactured my own line. Sold them nationwide to other stores. Best job I’ve ever had. Creative people there every day sharing their ideas and experiences. The industry for the craft tanked so sadly I moved on. Truly happy for him that he’s doing what he loves.

This place is amazing. If you’re ever in the neighborhood you should stop in and pick up a stamp. They’ve got a great selection, are very friendly, and can custom make you a stamp from their catalog if it’s not on the shelf. They also do mail order from their online shop.

My grandmother used to paint/color the stamps. It's very popular amongst serious scrapbookers. She would go in a specialty store once every couple of months and spend a small fortune on stamps.

There's a TV repair shop that still repairs CRTs. He'll replace the capacitors and recalibrate the tube. Tube calibration is about $50, and capacitor replacement is about 150. Recalibration, tube cleaning, internal cleaning, and capacitor replacement is about 250. They do flat screens, cassettes, and many other things. It's actually cool.

I’ve been there! I just happened to wander there one afternoon and picked up a small NYC bed bug stamp and red ink pad. Just being in the store was super cool, would highly recommend anyone to stop by.
