Suppose he started an indie renaissance with everyone wanting a tape machine/cheap teisco guitar/chorus/jazz chords. The market is SUPER over saturated at this point. Although I will say there have been a select few artists/rarities that have learned from the Mac formula and made it their own unique music. I wouldnāt say he killed indie though, thereās just too many copycats.
