Somebody probably already commented this, but the advice you offer here holds true in virtually every theater of life.

Time is the most valuable thing whether itā€™s just life with your family or anything else nothing is worth more than time. I totally agree with you.

Jason we agree 100%!!! We have made a lot of progress the last 15 years particularly to prep and plan our meals which translates into TIME. We super study what the best travel routes and which hours to be on an Interstate so we donā€™t waste time. Moon phase we donā€™t buy charts but we are aware how it may diminish or improve activity. Work drama we shut as much of that down as we can and turn that into hunt and fish days. I keep a file on all our most popular outings on my computer and these get adjusted for the following year factoring in success or lack of. Anyway WE AGREE!! Thanks

You are so right Jason! When I was younger and running a business, and raising a family I used to say when I had the money I didnā€™t have the time! And when I had the time I didnā€™t have the money! This Fall Iā€™m all Iā€™m in and hunting more!

As far as material things go, Iā€™d definitely consider a safety harness thatā€™s comfortable and of good quality. Having a cheap one is of no benefit if you hate it too much to wear it. You also want one that will hold your body weight for prolonged periods of time so you arenā€™t dropped from a restrained position. Your channel is awesome, and I enjoy all the content.

I have been saying this for years , and it is for everything in life . Hunting , being a parent , or my relationship with God .It's much easier to devote your time in what you truly love . Great advice

Lol Absolutely. I'm a mechanic by training & talent, and just paid for a truck repair to get in the woods thus weekend. Totally against my conscience but feel blessed I could do it to get on the hunt. Be well, stay safe.

I totally agree 100% the more you can spend in the woods the better your chances increase!! Also like others have stated your health!!!

Learned that along time ago. Unless you hunt a magnificant piece of land that has tons of bucks on it, you face a tremendous uphill battle hunting 1 day a week. In PA we cannot hunt sundays, for alot of people Saturday is all they get. I gave up pursuing my dream career because I'd never get time to be in the woods. And life is too short to work it all away. Some people don't realize that some of the greats of this game, John Eberhart, Infalt, Womack, all give themselves lots of time to hunt every year. Infalt goes nearly every single day after work. My awesome schudule lets me go 3-4 days a week and I take the first two weeks off of Nov. Great video Jason and something more people need to understand.

It what I was told by my dad. Time in the stand. Killed my biggest bucks in the morning rotating through stands in west Michigan. When my parents sold the Ludington cabin I was forced to go mobile in public land close to Grand Rapids. My cameras show huge bucks in daylight through October. Iā€™m not giving up on high pressure, close to cities bucks. Havenā€™t had success yet but it will happen thanks to the info I get from great hunters like yourself. Keep up the good work brother! Always loved your videos.

I'm a new hunter. I saw deer on my first three sits and shot a doe on my second sit. I haven't seen anything for the past five sits. I just tell myself I'm paying my dues. I'm definitely learning a lot, but the goal is to fail fast so I learn what NOT to do as early as possible so my future hunts are more successful Thank you for your videos

Fact. A wise man once said, ā€œMONEY brother Money can buy you a clock on the wall, but is canā€™t buy you one minute of time!ā€

Yep, this is true, why I hope to this Next spring get to hunt Turkey the way my brother wants to, getting out at least one full day and do at least one to two days after work hunts going home getting bow since I can't bring a bow to the school except in rare circumstances. I could at least get in 2--3 hours on the 2 weekdays. Saturday would be my full hunting day I assume. Hopefully šŸ¤ž the conditions of the place we want/plan to hunt next year are as good as I saw very early into the spring hunting season this year

I agree Jason, I also think the most valuable thing you could buy is your health so you pay now or pay later.

I can't wait. I take the last week off in October and the last 2 weeks of November off. Then i hunt 3 hrs everyday before and after work. It's still not enough though. Wish i had 3 months off. Can't wait to see your filmed hunts this year Jason. I might get the same camera arm and set up next year!
