3 stumbling blocks of forgiveness -
1) Thinking I have to do this by myself.
What’s God for then?
“I can do all things THROUGH CHRIST who strengthens me.”
2) “Forgiveness is weak”
Try forgiving someone and see how weak it is.
3) Deep down, I don’t want help forgiving, ‘coz I don’t actually want to forgive.
God has given us everything we need to forgive, but if we don’t want to, that’s where we need to start. Go back to part one where God explains why we need to forgive! Remember how He forgives us in Jesus. This is where our motivation and strength and will will come to forgive.

I had to go through this ...god asked me to forgive... everytime i tried and i failed badly.. i kept hate and jealousy in my heart ....thus having a unclean heart...every night i could not sleep....as demons disturbed me ... un forgiveness was a door to them... By the time i realized i lost 2 years of good sleep ..i was weak and tired and looked lean ...when i realized every bad things happend becoz of my un forgiveness ...i was like i cant take this punishment any longer and i forgived everyone and thanked my lord for not giving up on me....he brought me on the right track...now once my lord warns me of anything ... I have no questions.....i say here i am lord .... your will be done....now i dont even dare to keep an unforgiving heart

Forgiveness is at the core of Christianity. This skit shows God the Father talking to me, a Christian. As a Christian I have repented of my sins and believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God who died for my sins and rose from the dead. Hence God has forgiven my sins against Him. So I am expected to forgive humans who sin against me. My refusal to do so puts an end to the contract of forgiveness according to the words of Jesus - “if you don’t forgive others of their sins, the Father (God) will also not forgive your sins.” Matthew 6:15 Part 1 is linked under the title of this video :) Sub for more!
