Ironically this is the same for retail and minimum wage jobs as well. It took me 3 months to find another job after i got laid off. And i was thinking ok. I can go back to minimum wage fast food no big deal (after the customer cancalled our contract and our mini indie dev crew leaving us high and dry)....... I was wrong . Took a huge toll on me mentally because i had to constantly be worried how i was going to pay rent etc. and how come i couldnt go easily go back to work doing minimum wage when in the past i was hired on a heartbeat. But my dream is to do more animation work but. Yeah I feel that pain more now than ever.
