This is true. I did this with the greatest difficulty. He was the most wonderful man, but I guess even though i thought we were inseparable, something changed. Whilst I took ownership for things that went wrong from my side, I stopped blaming myself, shaming myself because I am human and I didn’t do anything bad. I had just moments and it’s ok and I am enough! I blocked him from contacting me because that’s how I knew how to protect myself. Do things that work for you, instead of worrying and wondering what your ex will think about it. As hard as it is to accept right now, I know there is someone who values me enough to sit down and communicate, instead of blaming you and not taking responsibility for their part in it too. Close your eyes and have faith and remember that what’s meant to be will never leave. They will stay and love you unconditionally! Here’s the loving and respecting yourself!

After 6 months of limited txting I told her toblock me as it was me that iniated all the msgs. She blocked without saying bye.... my advice is move forward if deep inside you know it doesn't feel like it's gonna work.

This is all stupid. Like the mental gymnastics is ridiculous. And then all these toxic videos telling people how they should play with the other persons feelings by doing all this no contact crap is just plain dumb. If you gotta do all that to get a person back then it’s not even worth it. If it was meant to be then there would not be a breakup. Why can’t we all just be open and honest about what we can and can’t offer each other and move around if it doesn’t fit your life. All this back n forth and these videos telling people to do this and that is getting out of hand now days. I swear the internet is what’s really causing all this confusion.
