A little bit of background. I am a corset maker. I have made historical corsets, mostly from the Victorian period, but as far back as the 1700s for the past several years. And I have really been able to perfect how I want an undergarment like a corset or a bra to support me and how I want it to fit me.
And with corsets, I was really able to get that down to a science, to the point where I was actually wearing my historical corsets on a daily basis, because they just were so much superior to the bras that I had as a nursing mom.
But I decided it was time to give bras a chance. I had been comparing my custom fit handmade corsets that were made for my body to the store bought bras that were still my right size, but they weren't made for my body specifically. And I decided it was time to embark on the journey of making my own bras.

I’m so impressed with you. I have my mothers old Singer from the 50s and her spangled Elna that does all kinds of fancy stitches. I need to oil up the Singer and maybe get it tuned up professionally. I was given a vintage sewing table years ago from a friend. You have inspired me to take up sewing again. I never had my moms talent, she was amazing, just like you. She has made patterns and designed things on her own, . I would love to make a custom fit under garment, but I’m intimidated. I’ll have to get my feet wet first, I’ve only done mending in the past 20 years. I love your channel. I love your style and your calm demeanor. You are a rare gem in a world of cubic zirconia.
