Sounds a bit useless to me: numbers can be useful for recalling certain settings on hardware and if you want to do things by ear you can already do that on a device which has numbers on it. The cheat sheet makes it even more nonsensical.

At this point, if it has many knobs it’s an eq. If it has at least 2 knobs, it’s a compressor
