I enjoy the “pro tips”. I always used a mitre saw for cutting accurately am a convert to the roofing square and saw method.

Try cutting the new Azek, you may need those 2x4 every 10"-12" apart to prevent sag and binding. Azek is like plastic it will melt like butter when you cut it and sticks to your saw. Nasty stuff but very expensive and last forever supposedly. You have very rigid 1x6 t&g there. Nice set up. I do the same but set it on my sawhorses. I can cut 20 footers on it. You should post that on youtube shorts or tik tok. lol. They both go vertical

I like using a piece of 2" dense foam insulation on a piece of plywood, supports the entire piece everywhere and you can cut into it no problem.

Hey PBB! Love your tips, glad we get to build with you guys. I got a pro tip question for you. Ive noticed youve got pretty much all circular saws set up with the red saw blade. What all-around blade would you recommend id load my 18v circular saw with? To use at a site for any cuts, sheets, joists, trim etc. Much appreciation for your channel.

As a rule I never watch Shorts, you guys are my only exception to that rule. The Pro Tips are the perfect, and I think only use for Shorts.

Re: saw I searched everywhere for a ‘left hand saw’. Couldnt find one- (not counting the heavy worm saw.) Your saw is essentially a left handed saw. Id been using a regular saw for years when I got a job on a crew that made me learn to cut right handed and I did learn. The problem with your saw for a right hander is your left hand has zero protection if theres a kickback or slip. Watch that thumb buddy!

I don't know your names well enough yet.. But the guy with the glasses, I like your rig. I'm using an apron, but I sweat like a hog in the humid heat. Where did you get your setup that holds your tool belt up?
