The first time i dove in genshin i got the theme music where a womans voice is humming and i literally cried. The ocean means so much to me and genshin definitely caught the vibe and wonder of being under water.

Because nobody asked, an ocean based slice of life anime I can recall is Nagi no Asukara. It's a romance drama with interesting love triangles, and the visuals are stunning as Genshin if I say so myself

I’m so glad that most of the sea creatures don’t start combat unless you do first. It makes for such a beautiful and peaceful ambiance 😊
