Been following since the beginning. I remember how tore up Eric was after the accident. You could physically see his hurt and concern for his brother and his future as a master carpenter. This video says so much…. Most badass thing I’ve seen on YouTube in a while!

It is amazing he has that much mobility, I am sure when the accident happened he wondered if he would ever be able to come back to work in the same capacity. Glad he is doing so well.

Jamie you are an Inspiration for a different reason. I subbed last week to your channel as you popped up randomly. I began with hilltop builds then the story of your accident. This weekend I binged watched the low income build and up to 15 at time of writing. Today I caught up on shorts and loved this. Now tomorrow I go to hosp for back surgery. I have attempted suicide twice as recent as 2021 and suffer from major depression. Someone wrote a comment here about the emotion in Eric’s eyes when telling us about your accident. Within a week you guys have drawn me into your family of builders and subs and I am simply a depressed disabled 55yr old lady living alone from 🇬🇧. And about to have an op. I personally can’t wait to come through the other end switch on my phone and pick up where I left off with both yours and Eric’s humor and passion for building. If you can come through what you have and get back to your art with your bionic hand then I am able to fight through my mental health struggles and then who knows.

Seeing Jamie use that hand makes me so happy. I had just started watching the channel when the accident happened, and I was devastated that Jaime had lost his livelihood and the thing that brought him so much joy. But with the hand and an amazing attitude, he's still here.

Truly inspirational. You can tell the love he has for creating things with his hands (you see it in all the videos). To see recovery from life changing injuries and to be able to continue doing what you love…..a lot of character that man!!!!!!

I just started following you guys, but you’ve really inspired me to find the things that I love about construction again. I’ve been in the industry for 20 years (since I was 15), and I’ve been just burnt out on it as of late. But, you really breathed a new life into my passion for it. Thanks!

That's so dope. Have you done a video about how it wotks? Articulation etc. There's a guy on YouTube that makes bionic hands for himself, super crazy stuff with different grip patterns and strengths. I forget his channel name though.

While I hate YT for many things that it does, the fact that Jamie and the Perkins family was able to get such immediate help from the community made me feel like there's some chance for humanity. The "extended" YT family came together in a big way through $ wise but also prayer. And not the Jeselnik kind of thought and prayers! 😁 And I love how Jamie was able to overcome such a horrible accident and kept his sense of humor through hard times. And here's to hoping he learned how to play the guitar left handed

We need a video on the hand! That is so cool! One of the reasons I bought a 3D printer was to get into prosthesis research. Rock on!

I'm surprised Naked Prosthetics didn't figure out a sponsorship deal with you guys. Glad to see it working well!
