As a father of a (then) 12 year old daughter, I fully support this. It is desperately needed to protect children. By the way-parents you need to verify school issued computers have "parental controls" on the computer itself. NOT JUST ON THE SCHOOLS WIFI.

I agree with this. With perversion out of control and young children being used and abused all over the world. To me , it's taken precautions and protecting the children from predators. It may stir people's feelings but in the long run , parents will be thankful. Their are under age children posting inappropriate acts and no supervision , which leaves them vulnerable to predators and traffickers. No parent can supervise their children 24/7. That's how I feel.

This should have been a bill introduced nationwide 10 years ago. Whoever that federal judge is, needs a wake-up call or to be replaced because her or she is severely out of touch.
Children should be taught how to use technology, yes. But, they absolutely do NOT need to be on any form of social media.

I think it's good but at the end of the day it's about parents, I have 2 young kids, they will not have smartphones with unfettered internet access until they are grown enough to handle it. Parental controls exist for a reason and yet I've never seen them used except to maybe stop kids from buying app currency on mommy's iPhone that she gives them because she doesn't wanna be a parent
