Yes the Limited Edition is the best of the line, but even this version has a lemon cleaner smell for the first 30 minutes. After an hour it’s very good. After two hours it’s amazing.
MB explorer is far weaker but smells great from the get go.

Where the hell did you find that tiny little bottle! Lol. Like I said before and I’ll say it again. Montblanc explorer is my favorite fragrance of all time. You can wear it any season and LITERALLY any occasion you can possibly think of. It might actually be a little robust and dense for like 100+ degree weather with the leather, ambroxan, akigalawood, cacao pod, but if you don’t spray that much you should be good. I have 2 really fresh and clean blue fragrances I wear when it’s like 90+ or 100+

I love Club de Nuit EDT but it gives me Headaches (yes, it sounds contradictory). I just finished my bottle and got the Limited Edition. Same amazing smell but without de bad part of it :) Favorite one.

Montblac Explorer is just a better blend imo.
Smoother and bit sweeter. Longevity not true, can be longlasting, just let be macerate for a while!

Montblanc Explorer has a smoother blend and better quality. CDNIM LE is stronger in terms of performance, although it may be smelling synthetic to others. For me Al Haramain L'venture is better since it's between CDNIM and Montblanc Explorer, Good performance and Good quality blend.

I honestly don't get the sacrifice of the initial smell quality. It's such a letdown to say, "oh it's ok, it'll smell better later." That's like 20% of the perfume experience for me. The opening should make you feel good and nice and uplifts your mood.
I tried the CDNIM EDT, EDP and LE parfum. LE Parfum indeed has a milder opening, but it still is potent and imo, reeks. Some people like it, but I don't.
Whereas MB is just smooth all over. I think I just accepted that reality that the aventus dna scent is just made not to last and perform that long.
Otherwise, you'll have to sacrifice stuff, like openings w/c CDNIM clearly did.
Just pick your poison lmao.

I own both of these, club di nuit wins! Explorer is fantastic, but that limited edition lasts for like 9 hours no joke, and its so much smoother than the regular club di nuit

Never tried the LE Parfum, but I think CDNIM EDT is so overrated. The dry down does smell good, but still not anything amazing imo. The opening is just terrible because it smells like lemon cleaning product.

You should definitely try "Royale" from Al Majed Oud. Hands down the best Aventus clone out there load af. I'll never understand why Al Majed Oud is so overlooked in the perfume community tho.

having tried both CDNIM pure parfum and limited edition, i'd say the difference is minimal. maybe a little less lemon and a little more pineapple in the opening. so im sticking with pure parfum instead. for less price you have more concentration,50 ml more volume and better longevity

I have the original club de nuit and it smells great and lasts 4-6 with three sprays. Is the limited version really that much better for 30 more bucks?
