I actually wasn't a fan of your testing methods regarding which drill bit does the best work. While your results do speak, I felt a drill press with 10 lb weight hanging from the lever would've been better for consistency when compared to swapping which gorilla is behind the drill. Also, alot of hardened bits fail from over heating, maybe have a consistent oil/coolant flowing across the media. I get that the original test was supposed to replicate garage conditions, but that is whats inherently disingenuous about listening to heresy, inconsistent tests, in other words, consult the scientific method. You have one variable to test. The drill bit. Every other aspect, everything else must be the same across all tests. Better luck next time. Probably gonna drill a lot more than 500 holes per bit.
