LEARN HOW TO MAINTAIN CLOTHES. Thrift stuff is great if you know how to make basic alterations. You don't have to replace clothes just because a button is missing or there's a small tear. Get a stain stick. Learn how to properly wash sweaters. Keeping a wardrobe gets so much cheaper when you know how to make things last.
