I can confirm that emotionally no they don’t move on that easy but physically yes it’s possible. I dated someone twice and each time we broke up, he would reach out almost a year later of no contact wanting to rekindle things. However, yes there were others he got with beforehand. No i did not go back with him after the second time. But we did make peace with the situation and have both moved on. He admitted he never meant to hurt me and always did care for me. He just felt bad how we couldn’t ever make it work.

Thank you. I went no contact with my ex she emotionally cheated on me before we broke up. I was hoping to get her back or, whatever. Yet after two months I returned a cat I was fostering for her friend and, told her to lose my number. I genuinely feel like I'm over her. She hardly ever crosses my mind and, I've realized that I don't even want her back anymore. I looked back and saw all the toxicity and abuse she put me through and, there is just not those feelings anymore. There's not even feelings over friends there anymore. So thank you sincerely you probably helped save my life. I felt suicidal and just worthless after she left and those feelings are gone now. The only thing that is left is confidence in myself and the want to work and improve my life and the life of the people I care about. I honestly have so much thank you for so from the bottom of my heart and with my life you helped save thank you.
