Hey perkins crew, I really like the video's. Im 19 years old and live in the netherlands and also work in construction. The way we build houses is a bit different... But the pro tips also works here. Keep u the work! Ps i would like to hear jason say this: Ik laat het hier regen. Its dutch for: i gonna make it rain up here.

Personally, not crazy about vertical clips/videos. Too much wasted space for me. BUT! I love your videos, been subscribed to your channel for some time now. I’m not a builder, some volunteer work for Habitat For Humanity, but love watching just the same. Love the “extras” y'all include in your houses, to make the home a quality home. Keep up the great work!

My protip is don't install can lights. LEDs are better and cheaper. Just run your wire with loops in the locations you want wire. Then put your ceiling up. Get a 4" hole saw. And make your hole. Then jam an old work box up there. Only way you can screw it up is if your hole saw jumps, so hold on tight and don't bind.

Clarification: Only back bevel t&g on angled cans on pitched ceiling. Don’t do this on a flat ceiling with regular NC or remodel cans… or you’ll need to replace the t&g as the trim will not cover. :)

I’m not sure if they’re popular where you guys are at but the wafer style trims make that even easier! Go right over where you want the light and drill it out, of course over your head and making sure the wire is safe!

Tbh it doesn't matter. Just make your cut a bit bigger to begin with. The light fixture will cover it

PBB, Another Great Tip👍🏻 Is You Tube making Yall produce these shorts???? Many channels are doing these now. They are nice but if Yall’s time is limited or Yall OVERWORKED; Regular Videos are more entertaining and informative🎃😵‍💫 but thats just me

I like the old break my pencil in 2....scribe the inside of the board when applicable ....around the light....especially when folks can't read the tape
