If i recall correctly, the given reason that he knew all these chemical formulas was that his job wasn't treating patients himself but he creating the drugs that hospitals would use.

And even worse, imagine if you get just a few endings wrong, or even just switched. The way organic chemistry works, you could be making neurotoxins or psychedelics by accident, or something that clots the patients stomach contents...🤦

As a vascular tech, I have to admit I rolled my eyes at this part of the manga. Funny how I was willing to accept magic, but remembering that much orgainc chem?! Bridge too far my duck :P

Its isekai but the doctor doesnt have any power, only his knowledge in medical field is his skill.

Contrary to popular belief, most doctors are actually just people.
We're trained to do a certain job, and that's what we're hopefully decent at doing. Remembering the exact chemical composition for hundreds of complex compounds isn't part of that job.

I'd argue not tho, considering his surgical skills are just the standard ones. At the very least the reposition of Archbishop Solomon's fractured tibia got no complication, lest compartment syndrome wud occur even if it's rare. It helps that it seems to be a simple non comminuted fracture tho. So I guess a really skilled surgeon is to be an add on there. There's also the fact that patient stabilization in a mobile ambulance needs to be done at a smooth speed with adequate facilities for proper primary survey at the very least. He might have his diagnostic eyes to replace any usage of FAST here or even CT/MRI, but none are gonna be able to replicate its usage considering it's a perk of him being Medicine God incarnate.
And he also needs to develop spectrophotometer 1st in this world for the sake of QC. Yanno, diff stereoisomer or enantiomer being a derp with us.
