I was happy to see what I thought was Rocket in the new planet of the apes movie. It’s either Rocket’s descendent or a different chimp that looks exactly like him by sheer coincidence, but it’s clear they used the same character model since the chimp has a piece of his ear missing just like Rocket. This scenario is almost identical to when people pointed out a chimp in War for the planet of the apes that looked exactly like Stone and it was confirmed that Stone survived the explosion in the second movie
