Notion is very useful for making summaries, because I get frustrated when a paragraph is not on the same page. And notion is endless

I use Pilot Frixion pens for taking notes. They are really comfortable and satisfying to write with, and they are erasable. I use 2 different dark (contrasting) colors and 1 bright color when taking notes. The two darker colors to create divisions between different sections, the bright color to add in little notes or examples.
They also work great for doing magic tricks on your supervisor while in the lab:
1. Write something on a piece of paper.
2. Place paper in incubator or thermocycler until writing is gone.
3. Show paper to supervisor, who is amazed.
4. Place paper in freezer for a moment until writing reappear.
5. Show supervisor, who is speechless.
6. Do your work in peace while supervisor plays with paper.
