Big difference between an abortion clinic/ place of worship and an MPs office. The first has vulnerable citizens exercising their rights under the law, and the latter is a source of power and venue for petitioning the government through free speech. I'm not surprised that this proposal came from Marco Mendocino. He was a horrible, "yes man" for Trudeau and has no idea how to engage with citizens on a constructive non-partisan way.
