Use this before your drum buss compression🥁

It will basically remove the peaks…

Allowing your compressor to do all the heavy lifting🏋🏼

This makes for a super controlled heavy drum sound😎

1. Place a Clipper on your drum buss
2. Push the gain up on your Clipper so you’re taking off the main peaks
3. Now compress the drums

Great thinking outside of the box, I would normally do it the other way round.

Record the drummer playing with Q-tips and you’ll get no transients! 😂😂 Jk people…

Thanks Streaky. Does this method apply to other instrument or vocal groups too?

French pronunciation is tricky for English natives. You still pronounce a lot like an English person would pronounce French (ze same way a Frrrench native would pronounce English in ze beginning of ze lurning prrrocess). However, your efforts will eventually pay off, Jade, I can only but encourage you to continue your lessons. And as always with languages, if you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a French-speaking context, don't hesitate in doing so. Again, hats off for your courage and your great progress 🙌
