They might not get range anxiety but they could well get battery replacement cost anxiety when their battery requires replacement and the car is outside of its 8 year warranty. Finding upward of $12,000 up front would be quite concerning to anyone I would think.

Erm, it does, press the % icon and it changes.
% is significantly more useful than miles estimate.
Range anxiety is not a 'thing', it's charger anxiety.

So, now how will "Road Use tax" be charged. By mileage or by electric use. EV's must contribute to road building and maintenance.

Tesla’s insurance is band 50 the highest price for insurance otherwise i agree with you but the insurance for me is a no go only if it was lower then maybe I’d go for the free supercharging option 2014 model but technically tesla’s software updates slightly slower charging speeds to protect the batteries so that’s another reason that put me off buying one otherwise I’d have one right now

My combustible has 500 mile per tank range and still has a mileage range on the dash, and car cost me 2k. Bargain, and better than a tesla.

Tesla does tell you miles left if you set it to, Ive done 137,000 uk miles in 10 years what use is % left and then you have to do the maths in your head x% = y miles, will that get me home? Panic YES / NO. Anyway the Sat Nav always tells you % left when you get to destination anyway. If theres any chance of running out the car works it out and tells you "Ohy dumb a*s go charge here on the way to xxxx or you will run out!"
