That’s why you buy 8 or 10 belts and get them on your parts shelf. You should have multiple replacements for each belt size used. They don’t go bad or deteriorate if you have them in a nice dry parts shack. I worked on flood control pumping stations for years and we carried spare parts for everything that we could possibly afford. Belts, filters, etc were all kept in clean, dry storage areas for emergency situations. Because things break down on holiday weekends and you can’t get in contact with your parts distributors. And some equipment needs to be repaired ASAP for you might be looking at hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage.
