Im sure you can do way better imaging than the examples here.
The Seestar S50 mini smart telescope is an absolute game changer in astrophotography.
@agenaastro sent me this telescope to try it out, and I am mind blown by the capability, the compactness, portability, and pricing of this little beast.
I did a few quick captures and I was amazed by the results I got from a light polluted area with street lights nearby. The captures were not too long, so the quality of the images is not great.
The telescope has a computer that will stack the images for you. If you go to a dark site and expose your targets longer, in sure you’ll get astonishing results
The telescope has a built in 50 mm triplet APO refractor with a 250 mm focal length, an astronomy dedicated camera, a go to mount and it’s built in computer, all sitting on a high quality tripod, all for $499.
The telescope is controlled through the Seestar app and is extremely user friendly.
You just have to calibrate the telescope and make sure it’s leveled, which is a very easy process that is explained in the app.
The telescope can do deep sky imaging, lunar, solar, and terrestrial imaging.
I seriously love this telescope and i think it’s the best beginner telescope
I’ll try this telescope on the Moon and the sun soon.
